Jr. Money Managers is a fun, interactive financial literacy workshop designed specifically for ages 10–13, empowering students to build healthy money habits early. Through hands-on activities, relatable lessons, and practical tools they can use right away, your child will learn how to budget, save, set goals, give, and make smart money choices with confidence.

6-week courses

Aprx 2 hours weekly.  We come to your homeschool or we have the workshops in various community rooms. 

2-day courses

Same information.  During student breaks, children will learn and have fun in the interactive worshops.

6-week classes (1.5-2 hr) or 2-day (6 hrs)

OBJECTIVES:

  

WEEK 1 — Understanding Money

Objective: Students will understand what money is, why it’s valuable, and how it is earned, saved, and spent. They will also focus on the difference between needs vs. wants.

WEEK 2 — Budgeting Basics

Objective: Students will learn to create a simple budget using income, expenses, and savings goals.

WEEK 3 — Saving and Setting Goals

Objective: Students will understand the importance of saving money and setting financial goals.

WEEK 4 — Smart Spending

Objective: Students will learn how to spend money wisely and make informed choices.

WEEK 5 — Giving and Sharing

Objective: Students will explore generosity and how giving fits into financial health.

WEEK 6 — Building Your Financial Future

Objective: Students will learn about goal setting, decision making, and the bare basics of investments.
